The Beta Reader Review Process
1. Selection
Choose the demographic criteria for your target audience, considering factors such as age, gender, religious or political affiliation, marital status, and education level. Utilizing our extensive database of over 25,000 readers, we will carefully select 20–30 beta readers who align perfectly with your manuscript.
2. Reading
Chosen readers enter into a non-disclosure agreement and receive a watermarked digital copy of your manuscript. Additionally, they will be provided with any specific questions you wish them to contemplate during their reading of the manuscript.
3. Review
Respondents address 30–50 thoughtfully crafted questions designed by industry experts to extract and pinpoint key issues.
4. Report
Our Senior Editor meticulously examines all feedback from beta readers and organizes it into a detailed 20-page report. This report encompasses readers' quotes, trends, net-promoter score, and editorial requirements. Anticipate receiving your review within approximately 30 days.
Seeking feedback on your book’s title, subtitle, or cover design? Conduct a split-test, pose targeted questions, and receive input from a team of more than 350 beta readers.
